Our 2020 Vintage

Vintage 2020 was a small crop. After a recent tasting, Charles and I would describe it as concentrated and aromatic. The vintage formed part of two very dry years. Vintage 2019 had an even lower yield! The blessing of Heathcote 2020 was that the devastating New South Wales and Victorian fires have had zero impact on our finished wine. While Spring and early Summer were dry, cooler weather along with some rain, resulted in a later harvest. This is proving to be an immensely flavourful and elegant wine with some real understated power.
